Year of Jubilee 2025

This year the Catholic Church will celebrate a Jubilee Year, officially declared by Pope Francis with the theme "Pilgrims of Hope". This is a time of spiritual renewal, pilgrimage, and mercy, and it holds special significance for us as Catholic families in Australia. This Jubilee Year is a time for all of us to rediscover our true identity as God's children and grow together in faith with our families. Ash Wednesday and Lent

Next Wednesday 5th March is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. The children will begin their Lenten unit in the classroom and learn about this special season of the Church and the choices they can make in preparation for Easter. We will observe this day with a liturgy in the FGC at 2pm-All Welcome!

During Lent, we will raise money and awareness through Project Compassion. Our first fundraiser will be next Friday 7th March with a Mufti Day and gold coin donation!

First Reconciliation

We have students busily preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Please keep them in your prayers.

Confirmation

Students in Year 6 who have made their First Communion are invited to make their Confirmation this year. The ceremony will be held on Saturday 24th May at 11am. Father Sean will invite these families to enrol. Keep your eye on the Parish Bulletin.
