Christmas Story Art Exhibition

Congratulations to Alice W and Samuel N whose artwork has been shortlisted and exhibited in the  Wollongong Art Gallery for the Christmas Story Art Exhibition. All 44 artworks from schools across the Wollongong diocese will be on display until Sunday 29th October.  A great family day out if you wish to visit the exhibition.

Mission Market Day

October is Catholic Mission Month, and this year, Pope Francis encourages people around the world to renew their commitment to spreading the Good News and to support missionary work. This year the appeal highlights the work of Salesian Sisters in Timor-Leste. 

In recognition of this message and to raise funds that we can contribute to Catholic Missions, STA will be holding a Mission Market Day on Friday 27th October beginning with a Liturgy in the FGC at 9 am. All Welcome! The Year 5 and 6 students will lead a variety of stalls and activities that the children can visit to purchase goods and services from. Some of the stalls include cakes, nail painting, carnival games, footy kicking, white elephant store etc. From Monday Week 3, Years 5 and 6 students will be selling booklets of tickets that students can pre-purchase for use on the day. Booklets will be sold in lots of $5. The class teachers will collect the pre-purchased booklets and distribute them to their students on the morning of Mission Market Day. Students are encouraged to wear mufti on the day.
